Catherine Fernandez, a Psychological Counselor, has been practising in this field for the past 4 years. She has experience working with Adolescents, Adults and Couples in diverse settings. Her primary approach is using CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ) with an eclectic approach to best suit her clients. She is passionate about reducing daily distress by helping clients better regulate emotions, thoughts and behaviours. She stays connected with the community and engages in various community-based programs to create awareness of mental health. She is also passionate about providing Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to create a safer work space and promote mental well-being at work.
Her passion for working with people started while working with a number of NGOs, and she realized how important it was to create a safe space for people to share while working on themself.
