Dr. Hamed AL Sinawi is a senior consultant old age sultan at the department of behavioral medicine. Sultan Qaboos University a fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK Chairman Oman’s Psychiatrist Society and Oman Alzheimer's Society. He completed his training in the UK and specializes in Geriatric Psychiatry. In 2011 he formed the memory clinic at SQUH which is a specialized clinic for people with Alzheimer's and other dementia. He conducts regular workshops in topics related to mental health and wellbeing and leadership skills. He is involved in teaching medical students, residents, and other health care professionals and supervising research projects
