As a Youth Mental Health practitioner, I specialize in understanding and addressing the unique mental, emotional, and behavioral needs of children and adolescents. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Clinical and Developmental Psychology from George Mason University in the United States. This educational background has provided me with a solid foundation to understand and address the challenges faced by young individuals in their mental health journeys.

My professional journey includes valuable hands-on experience gained through training at a psychiatry hospital in Bahrain. This experience equipped me with insights into various mental health conditions and effective therapeutic interventions. Along with my training, I maintained a critical role in promoting mental health awareness and support within educational settings. I directly worked with middle schoolers and high schoolers to resolve different issues related to friendships, anxiety, and how to ensure a smooth transition from school to university through mediation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and academic counseling.

My approach to youth mental health is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practices. I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space where young individuals can explore and express their thoughts and emotions. I am proud to offer my services fluently in both Arabic and English. Thus, creating a comfortable, accessible, and inclusive environment for those I work with.

I hope to contribute to the mental well-being of the youth by fostering resilience and empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the individuals I have the privilege to work with.
