I have over 25 years of clinical and academic experience in Physiatry (physical medicine and rehabilitation), with a special interest in musculoskeletal pain, including complex regional pain syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, myofascial pain syndrome, chronic back/neck/hip/knee/feet pain, and all types of joint pain (including rheumatoid arthritis). In addition to being an expert in the treatment and management of osteoporosis and spasticity, I am also specialized in neuro-musculoskeletal rehabilitation related to stroke, spinal cord injuries, and developmental disabilities. Over the course of my career, I worked across a number of academic institutions. I currently hold the title of an Associate Professor of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine, Menoufia University, Egypt.

I was also appointed as a Visiting Associate Professor at the Neuromuscular Clinic, Department of Medicine, McMaster University, Canada. In addition to Egypt, Canada, and Kuwait, I also worked as a consultant physiatrist in Sultan Bin Abdul-Aziz Humanitarian City, Al Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Given my vast experience in pain management, I published many articles about the topic in numerous medical journals.
