Sara Issa is a licensed clinical psychologist specialized in children, adolescents, and young adults. At Nawfal Clinics, Sara is part of the Children and Adolescents division. She conducts individual therapy sessions and family sessions and provides clinical assessments and treatment for a range of behavioral and psychological disorders. Sara’s approach to therapy is integrative and holistic. She includes CBT, DBT, ACT and insight-oriented psychodynamic therapy modalities.

Sara earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the Lebanese American University (LAU) in 2017, a Postgraduate Degree in Psychological Studies from the University of Glasgow in 2019, and a Master Degree with Distinction in Clinical Applications of Psychology from Kingston University London in 2020. She is a graduate of the children & adolescents subspecialty track from the Psychology Training Program at the American University of Beirut (AUBMC).

Along with her work at Nawfal Clinics, Sara provides family group therapy at the NGO Helem, and is working on the research project “Child Safeguarding in Lebanese Hospitals” at AUBMC.
