Zainab Almousa is a registered dietitian with a Masters in nutrition and exercise physiology. She received her Bachelor’s degree in dietetics from the University of California, Berkeley. She then received her Master’s degree from Columbia University. She also completed her dietetic internship at Columbia University where she gained lots of experience working at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Plus One Health Management, and various institutions in the New York Metropolitan area.

She has experience in various areas of nutrition care such as sports nutrition, diabetes management, weight loss, bariatric surgery, pregnancy, renal disease, celiac disease, and malnutrition. Her main interests include promoting healthy living through nutrition and exercise and preventing childhood obesity. She is also interested in doing more research on the aspiring field of nutrition and the epigenome.
