Aishwarya is a licensed clinical psychologist with five years of experience in multi-speciality hospitals and mental health clinics. She has a keen interest in culturally sensitive approaches within the practice of psychology and has worked with clients of diverse age groups, gender, culture, and ethnic backgrounds.
She completed her M.Sc. Clinical Psychology, Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling and is currently a PhD. Scholar, working towards various certifications. Throughout the journey of her research and clinical practice, she has worked with adolescents and adults. She is passionate about helping clients overcome the challenges of day-to-day life and improve their quality of life so that they can find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their social and personal relationships.
Her therapeutic approach incorporates cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) techniques to help clients build distress tolerance and regulate emotional responses, along with other evidence-based practices derived from the biosocial theory of psychological disorder. She is keen on exploring the root cause of client difficulties to aid them in restructuring and creating meaningful social connections.
Additionally, she has gained expertise in the areas of psycho-diagnostics, Neuro-psychological assessment and profiling, IQ Assessment, as well as Personality, Emotional and Behavioural Assessments.
