Dr Majid Shahohammadi, an Iranian psychiatrist, obtained his diploma of doctoral degree in medicine at Tabriz University of Medical Science in 1991. He practiced as a general practitioner in his private office. Due to his desire for rehabilitation of children with special needs, he was employed in welfare organization and he was quickly selected as the director of rehabilitation department of welfare organization of Zanjan province. He could get valuable experience in treatment and rehabilitation of children with autism, behavioral difficulties, intellectual disabilities, ADHD and learning disorders.
In 2009, he commenced his residency in psychiatry at University Malaya, a well-known university in Kuala Lumpur. Apart from his practice in social security organization and Zanjan University of Medical Science, he has extensive practice in the treatment of children and adults with psychiatric disorders.
