Dr. Sendy Atef Abdelaziz Amin, PhD, DPT is joining Rehabilitation as a Senior Physiotherapist, bringing over 18 years of advanced clinical & leadership experience across hospital & specialist rehabilitation settings.

 

Her clinical expertise centers on women’s health, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and complex musculoskeletal care, alongside extensive experience in service development, clinical governance, and multidisciplinary coordination.

 

Sendy holds a PhD in Physical Therapy from California State University, East Bay (USA), a Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) with a specialization in Women’s Health from Cairo University (Egypt), MSc and BSc in Physical Therapy from Cairo University, in addition to being a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ, USA).

 

Her advanced postgraduate and specialty clinical training was completed across multiple international programs, including pelvic, obstetrics, and gynecological physiotherapy in the United Kingdom, women’s health specialist physiotherapy through Curtin University in Australia, mechanical diagnosis and therapy in the United States, and male pelvic health training in Turkey. This international training underpins her expertise in managing complex gynecological, urological, obstetric, and post-surgical rehabilitation cases.

 

Previously, Sendy held senior leadership roles as Director of Rehabilitation Services at Kaya Polyclinic (MED C) and Chief of Physiotherapy at International Hospital Kuwait, and earlier founded and led Women’s Health Physiotherapy Services at Royale Hayat Hospital.
