Ivana is a culturally sensitive licensed therapist and psychologist with over 13 years of experience in counseling, academic advising, psychological assessment, differential and psychoeducational diagnostics in both higher education as well as clinical settings.
She has been practicing in Qatar for the past 5 years in the field of guidance counseling, coordinating special educational needs in an international school and working in clinical setting focused on assessment, counseling, and therapy. Given her experience in brief counseling modality, she is also an active affiliate for several Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service providers.
Having attained therapy certification under the Croatian Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies and the European Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies in 2016, she also implements Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other third wave CBT approaches. An avid practitioner of Schema Therapy (ST) starting 2020, currently therapist under supervision. She completed her MPhil program focused on Clinical Psychology with her thesis devoted to effectiveness of culturally sensitive psychotherapy.
Ivana is passionate about multiculturalism, animal activism, learning new things and stress-baking. She is a proud TNR volunteer and a parkour practitioner.
