Nashwa is a CDA Licensed Professional Psychologist, Researcher, and Speaker with more than 8 years of experience in helping adolescents, adults, and couples with a diversity of disorders and life challenges in Egypt and the UAE.
Further, she has more than 12 years of experience in mentorship and leadership. She is a Master’s degree holder in Counseling Psychology from The American University in Cairo where she has received her education and training by western educated high-profile practitioners.
Nashwa is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and an Executive committee member of the Middle East Psychological Association (MEPA)
Over the course of her career, Nashwa has been offering psychotherapy for clients from over 150 diverse nationalities in academic and private practice in Egypt and UAE. And as a believer in human uniqueness, she is tailoring her therapy model to the most effective, individualized need of her clients with a focus on client-centered and research-based therapy models.
Over the last decade, Nashwa has gained extensive experience helping healthy individuals and couples manage life challenges and find purpose and passion. And she has had experience mentoring and consulting executives and clients in corporate workplace on work-related challenges and mental well-being.
She is a researcher and speaker in the field of psychology; she presented her work about Personality Assessments, Borderline Personality Disorder challenges and Domestic Violence at several conferences including MEPA Annual Conference and Expo, and International Psychology Conference Dubai (IPCD).
