Interactive Workshop with Majda Al Sabah
The stress management program includes four one-hour workshops that provide strategies for managing stress. Participants learn how to identify sources of stress, cope with stress using relaxation techniques, improve well-being through lifestyle changes, and sustain stress management strategies. By the end of the program, participants will have developed a personalized toolkit of coping mechanisms to manage stress and maintain balance in their lives.
The "Nafs" initiative is one of the volunteer initiatives that has taken on the task of building mentally, socially, and educationally competent Arab communities since its launch in 2020. This is accomplished through organizing various activities with trustworthy scientific content in different fields, such as education, psychology, and sociology, for specialists, beneficiaries, and those interested in these fields. The initiative focuses primarily on the individual - as the foundation of society and its first building block - recalling the Qur'anic verse "whoever saves one life - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely" (Surah Al-Ma'idah: verse 32), from which it derives its name "Nafs" (meaning "self" in Arabic).

Definition – Self-compassion is the practice of being kind towards ourselves.
Importance – When we are kinder towards ourselves instead of being self-critical, we motivate ourselves to make the changes we need to live our best lives because we care about our own well-being.
